Security and assurance framework

Security and independent assurance

Security claims should be testable. This page distinguishes controls currently described by the platform from work that still requires independent verification.

No secrets requested

Credential safety

Community and forensic workflows should rely on public-chain data and authorised case material. ChainTrace should never ask a victim to transfer assets for “verification.”

Reduce exposure

Data minimisation

Intake, access, retention, deletion and redaction rules will be documented before the subsidised-review pathway opens.

Responsibility by role

Access controls

Administrative, analyst and case responsibilities are separated. The independent review will test authentication, authorisation and audit logging.

Continuous assurance

Security review cycle

The assurance framework covers application security, access control, sensitive-data exposure, evidence integrity, dependency risk, incident response and methodology sampling. Material findings are prioritised, remediated and retested through the program review cycle.
